TRULY AN AMAZING PIECE OF ROMAN CATHOLIC HISTORY FROM THE 17TH CENTURY ~ THIS LAST RITES KIT WAS USED BY CATHOLIC PRIEST TO ADMINISTER THE LAST SACRAMENT IN ADDITION TO FINAL PRAYERS AND COMMUNION TO THE ILL AND THE DYING ~ THE PIECES ARE DATED 1897 & MANUFACTURED BY HOMAN SILVER PLATE CO . THIS ORIGINAL BOX HAS A BRASS CROSS ON THE TOP ~ THERE IS ALSO A LATCH TO KEEP THE BOX CLOSED ~ THE INSIDE OF THE BOX IS COMPLETELY LINED WITH PURPLE SATIN FABRIC ~ Homan Silver Plate Company did excellent work & typically produced fine quadruple silver plate tea sets and specialty pieces that are extremely desirable. The business had the name Homan Silver Plate in between circa 1896 to 1904. Consisted of in the Sick Call Kit are the following items:.
