Great vintage condition.Held Quart soda bottles.Consists of wooden center divider.The old Double Cola logo can be seen on the within of the crate. Double Cola. In 1922 the Good Grape Company was started by Charles D. Little and Joe S. Foster in Chattanooga, TN.They opened mostly to market their grape soda product, Good Grape.In 1924, they created "Marvel Cola", which would one day become Double-Cola.They also changed the name of their growing company to the Seminole Flavor Company.In 1933 Seminole finally improves its cola recipe.They named their brand-new flagship item Double-Cola, due to the fact that its 12 ounce bottle was two times the size of other soda bottles being offered at the time.
