From the mid 20th century, this solid wood Anglo Indian style dowry/jewelry chest is accented with brass and is studded throughout the exterior. Length is 20 in, height is 11.5 in, and width is 13.5 in.This style became very popular around 1900, and continues to this day.It features one large compartment with a smaller lidded compartment off to the right inside. In addition, there are two drawers located at the bottom. Equipped with a heavy duty latch and handles.This is truly attractive, and the pictures don't do it proper justice.
