Help!!! My wonderful Pyr who took care of the critters /guarded the rancho for many years has crossed the rainbow bridge. His best friend/co-guard is grieving, and she is too old to bark at coyotes by herself. I will pay a reasonable price, drive a reasonable distance, and/or give a great home to a pup or mature LGD type breed or mix that is (or can learn to be) livestock-friendly. Livestock here include dairy goats, horses, and poultry. Must not chase goats nor shred the turkeys (a pup can be trained by me and the old lady dog). I don't care whether male or female, spayed or neutered (will soon be one or the other). Don't care if purebred, but must be of livestock guardian breeds (not herding dog type). If you have such a dog that needs more space, or know of someone who does, please e-mail or give me a call/leave message at 520-240-XXXX.
