Willett Lancaster County strong Maple Buffet / Sideboard This lovely solid maple buffet piece was made by the well-known Willett company of Louisville, Kentucky. This piece is an uncommon SOLID one piece maple buffet, not the standard design that was available in two sections that separated. They are magnificently grained and extremely extremely heavy since the sides are each one solid piece of maple. This buffet has 3 drawers on leading and one large drawer on the bottom. The bottom drawer has the original velvet lined silverware holder that moves freely. Two doors open up at the base to reveal a rack for additional storage. There are grooves on the top and center for plates. This buffet still has the initial surface and hardware. The wood is all in excellent condition without any significant scratches or dents. The surface is in reasonable condition but has actually never been modified or tried to be refinished as we desired to keep all of it original. This is a special and fabulous Willett Maple piece that would be fantastic for any collector!$1500.
