You could need to press the button a lot however I've never ever not been able to get it open. Easy-cheap fix at a video game service center. Skyrim has laser burn. I know an owner of a video game shop who offered to repair it for me for $3.00, I simply never ever got it done. Once more an easy fix. Trying to find $120.00 for all. Ready to listen to offers.
